In the debate, VP Cheney referenced factcheck.com to back up his argument. The correct link is not factcheck.com but factcheck.org, and it is about the best site I know and I have recommended it twice in this blog.
First off, DO go to http://www.factcheck.org. Read.
Then, check out what happens when you visit the site Cheney named. Go ahead. Try it!

Looks like they stopped the link now. Darn. It was to an anti-Bush site. You can still read about it at http://www.factcheck.org, but right now it’s getting so many hits that getting to it is a problem.
