A visitor to the blog sent me this testimony about her mother:
“My mother got involved with JW’s about 30 years ago. My brother, sister and I used to go with her to meetings, but as we got older we refused to go. My father, brother and I found the organization to be hypocritical and felt they were brainwashing my mother. She ended up having a nervous breakdown and had to be hospitalized twenty-five years ago. When she got out of the hospital she was baptized. She believed she would not have gotten sick if she had been baptized, and has passionately believed in the JW teachings since.”
Break ‘em down, alienate ‘em from loved ones, give ‘em shelter.
