Safety Issue with Google

Google has a feature that allows you to type someone’s telephone number into the search bar and hit enter to be given a map to their house. Test it for your own number and decide for yourself if you would like to have your phone number removed from the system. They will honor removal requests. There are certainly plenty of ways for people to find out that information elsewhere, and some people might find the mapping function handy for things like giving directions to your house. However, if you have young children or you worry about being stalked, here is an option just to make things just one step less easy.
