(46) Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so. (47) Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings. I read these verses of Matthew, and the ones just before it, as an admonishment that that we will not know when Jesus will return, and we should be ready. Why do JW's think that they know when Jesus is coming when this passage says that we will not? Matthew 24:45-47

I read these verses of Matthew, and the ones just before it, as an admonishment that that we will not know when Jesus will return, and we should be ready. Why do JW’s think that they know when Jesus is coming when this passage says that we will not?

I think their doubts mainly arise when they are in private company where they feel relatively ´secure´ - or when they are alone and allowed to think of their doubts. The best thing to do is to let people read - read books of every topic - read books that do NOT originate from the WTBS...then their minds will start to THINK....but I know it´s extremely difficult to introduce people to this process....
