Matthew 24:45-47
Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?
(46) Happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.
(47) Truly I say to YOU, He will appoint him over all his belongings.

I read these verses of Matthew, and the ones just before it, as an admonishment that that we will not know when Jesus will return, and we should be ready. Why do JW's think that they know when Jesus is coming when this passage says that we will not?

To me the Bible study seems a waste of time if the ´only´ purpose is to plant seeds of doubt....remember that when the Witnesses are in field service they carry more than ever the entire set of beliefs and dogma they´re supposed to believe....
I think their doubts mainly arise when they are in private company where they feel relatively ´secure´ - or when they are alone and allowed to think of their doubts.
The best thing to do is to let people read - read books of every topic - read books that do NOT originate from the WTBS...then their minds will start to THINK....but I know it´s extremely difficult to introduce people to this process....
