Your Baby Angel

Someone I know just lost their dear baby girl. She was born with a severe genetic defect and was only able to stay with her family for a little less than 5 months. My heart flies out - here is a brief poem I’ve written in honor of her brief life - and for comfort.

Your Baby Angel

Breathing with her -
Giving her your strength -
She knew your spirit.

Kissing her -
Caressing her -
She knew your love.

Talking to her -
Being there -
She knew your care.

She left this world -
She couldn’t stay -

She carries your message
into forever.
