My son is 11 and was invited to a Green Day concert, but I think he is too young. Anyone have comments on age appropriateness for a Green Day concert?

Response from Heidi: Hi Scott – I saw kids of 9 and up at the concert. It was very safe and very fun. The only caveat would be the language. He does swear a bit here and there – not that you can really hear the lyrics that well at a concert. I have a son – I would probably set my own comfort level at between 10-14 depending on the personality and development of the boy in question. Also – you’d want to check out who is would be going with, which for me would be the bigger question.

I am a HUGE Green Day fan and I love to see it when people enjoy their music as much as me. I am going to their concert on the 19th(in Denver) and and counting down the days. Thank you for giving me even more to look forward to!!!

I went to the concert last night in MD. It was the most amazing concert I have ever been to. We were on the floor right next barrier at the stage. We could actually feel Billie Joe’s sweat land on us.
