This is a great opportunity, perhaps one of the last, for the Democrats to turn the tide in this country. If they could stop "positioning" themselves long enough to realize that by avoiding confrontation they are losing this country and their constituents as well as endangering democracy itself, they could become heros...just by doing their jobs.
