(Mahatma) Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of callouses on his feet.

He also ate very little, which made him rather frail.

And with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath.

Oh Lord. I love puns and that one is a beaut. I think today is some sort of anniversary for him. Just caught it in passing on news.

Not a happy anniversary at all. January 30, 1948, the day of his death. I was almost 10 and I do remember it; just not the date.
