Braggin’ Mommy Time…
Our son Benjamin is the Citizen of the Month at his elementary school.
He got an award certificate and a congrats from the principal.
Not bad for someone in kindergarten.
Yay Ben!

Iv’e just found out my nearly 5 year old who is now in Pre-Prmary has been buddied with an 11 year old.
My son’s primary school has a buddy syste, for helping the young ones adjust to full time school.
Well it seems his buddy is a problem child. I can not believe that I am already worrying who my kids are hanging around with!!
Ben has a “reading Buddy” who is in 5th grade – he seems fine. However, Ben has been put together with another child in his class who is clearly the problem kid. The teacher is hoping that Ben will help him – but I have the same concern that the “rubbing off” will go both ways!
