I wonder why the Department of Defense is reading this blog? Hmmmm.
The last time I got military or government hits like this on my site was when I had a rough draft of a chapter of my dissertation online. It was an analysis of pulp thrillers on bioterrorism. I understood why that might have raised a red flag, and I took it down.
This is a little more interesting. The initial inquiry was on Lisa Baron, PR gal for Ralph Reed.

Maybe it’s paranoia – maybe it isn’t – these virtual walls have very large virtual ears that seek out key words like ‘bomb’ and ‘Al Qaeda’
Understood. But why would they be doing a manual Google search for Lisa Baron? It just struck me as a little odd.
Someone over at the DOD was working for at least two hours, that much is sure.

Well, I have to confess, I check your site out while I am at work, but then again, I am not working for the DOD!!!! My first thought was, OMG, they are scoping out my friend, it is the 1050’s and McCarthyism all over again, then I thought “Why am I so paranoid”? lol I wonder why! Maybe she just likes your site.
