Attorney General, aware that he had committed perjury in sworn testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee, attempted to "rehearse" Ms. Goodling to make certain that her own testimony would be in agreement with his were she to be called to testify. I'm convinced the man believes he has done no wrong and that history will eventually vindicate him. Also, the brains behind the outfit (Rove, Cheney, etc...) do NOT want confirmation hearings before this Senate. Short of discovering a videotape of Gonzales snorting coke off of the backside of an underage illegal-immigrant male prostitute, they are not going to ask him to resign.
