Or when they try to stifle objections with something like, "But it's what I believe!" I've run in to this with Witness who've tried to convert me back. But - in my experience at least - it's a selfish act. They want to be saved. So this is what they have to do to get there. Now they just want you to shut up and play along by deferring to their needs. If you don't, many of them get miffed. So we're not supposed to have our say. Gee, thanks...
