People are starting to recognize that Chimpy's Glorious Oedipal Crusade on Iraq is, in fact, a major driver behind our economic woes. It has to be stressing the immune system--that's the whole point. That angle probably ought to be studied, from what I read the mercury angle has been beat to death, but multiple vacinations... Regarding autism, I have read that if both parents are computer programmers the risk is much higher. This article says that it is correlated at 90% with identical twins http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aspergers_pr.html --which suggests a strong genetic component. Being a geeky type myself I would have to say that my brain is different, and doubling up with a similar brain might not be such a good idea....
