Thanks Tim! I think my traffic is just down because the recent infrequency of my posts.

In a related story, I wonder what they mean by "excessive reserves" - and really, are we paying interest on them?

I'm a little confused as to why this well written and pretty clear seeming blog entry has so few reads and comments. It presents well supported ideas that aren't terribly biased, and I feel like a better person for having read it.

tim h´s last blog post - Dr. Brown's Cream Soda + Figuring Out BBQ Pork Ribs

Nobody can tell you how much money the Government is printing up because the Government stopped publishing the "M3" report about a year and a half ago.

I personally shudder to think how much money they've probably printed up, now that no one is watching.

JollyRoger´s last blog post - Now HERE’S a Surprise

Of course you will. I'm no longer optimistic that Obama will make much of a difference though. He has shown himself, perhaps necessarily, willing to forego his lofty principles for the sake of political expediency.

Oh, I'll be voting for the winner, Obama. This country just cannot go in the direction desired by the McCain/Palin ticket. I only hope that we Americans have smartened up a little.

Yes, you and I are liberals... but where would we go from here? As you say, there is plenty of blame to go around but one thing that has become plain as day is that both major parties are complicit. Waste our November vote on someone wih no chance of winning, or vote while pinching our noses?

We can put some carpenters to work... building public stocks.

Gallows would probably be an over-reaction. Maybe.

Think of the produce-vendors though!
