William, not Mel

William, not Mel

Which science fiction writer are you? I am: William Gibson The chief instigator of the “cyberpunk” wave of the 1980s, his razzle-dazzle futuristic intrigues were, for a while, the most imitated work in science fiction. (Yeah, but that’s not why I like his books!)

One Million Visitors to VirusHead

One Million Visitors to VirusHead

Sometime tonight, I will have received one million hits to the VirusHead site. That includes visitors to the entire site, including the blog. See the CDC weekly flu map. James Brown died early Christmas morning. Phyllis Brown (widow of DeKalb County Sheriff-elect Derwin Brown, who was shot down in his…

Switching Themes

I’m playing around with a new theme here. I wanted something a little brighter. Something is messed up with the categorized blogroll. The links don’t display properly and they seem to be breaking the column. Drat. There are a few other little clean-up tasks to do with the theme too. It might take me a little longer than usual. Please bear with me while I figure it all out between doing other things. Advice welcome.
