A bit of nostalgia. I still have my mood ring from the 70’s. It was really just a modification of those strips they use to take your temperature. Since I run a degree or so hot, it was blue when I had it on, and black when I had it off. I always wanted to see it swirl with green, but it didn’t work that way for me.

I would have put pride and wrath above sloth, probably. Might be a reflection of my lazy mood today…
It’s International Worker’s Day, and the news is covered with images of protesting immigrants, some of whom are citizens already. Thousands marched today for immigrant rights.
They have done so in a dignified and peaceful way, and have made a statement about their value to the US economy as well as reminding everyone about the “American dream.”
“We are all immigrants.”
“Hoy Marchamos, Manana Votamos.”
“Today we march, tomorrow we vote”
Take notice, Washington! They will not be erased.
